The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is set to celebrate its anniversary parade in the Northeast region for the first time on February 21, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah scheduled to attend as the chief guest. This historic event will feature eight contingents comprising about 1,400 personnel.
Special Director General Raja Srivastava emphasized the significance of the 87th anniversary parade, underlining the CRPF's commitment to peace and security in the region. The parade will honor the sacrifices and contributions of CRPF personnel to national security.
The event at the Sarusajai Stadium will showcase grand ceremonial marches, martial arts demonstrations, and modern equipment displays indicative of the CRPF's readiness to counter emerging security threats. The celebrations will include award presentations by the Union Home Minister and Director General.
