A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Amethi district when a four-year-old boy was fatally injured by a speeding tractor. The tragedy occurred near Sarvodaya Inter College in Warisganj, as the boy, Viraj, played unsuspectingly outside his home.
According to the police, the tragic event transpired on Tuesday evening, leading the driver to flee the scene. Krishna Prakash Yadav lodged a formal complaint, revealing that his son was struck while playing, resulting in grave injuries that led to his demise at the Community Health Centre in Jamo.
Authorities are tirelessly working to locate the runaway driver and the suspected owner of the tractor, Vivek Tiwari. The boy's body has been sent for post-mortem, as Jamo SHO Vinod Singh assures ongoing efforts to resolve the case.
