IMF Engages with Gabon for Economic Stability

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced on Friday that its staff engaged in discussions with Gabonese authorities concerning macroeconomic progress and the implementation of national growth agendas.
IMF representatives emphasized the ongoing efforts to reform public financial management and governance, stressing the necessity of prudent fiscal and financial policies to maintain macroeconomic stability within Gabon and the broader region.
Following the conclusion of discussions in Libreville, the IMF indicated that further policy dialogue with Gabonese authorities is planned, including engagements during the upcoming IMF Spring Meetings.
