Monkey Mayhem: Chaos in Dhar District

In a surprising incident in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, a monkey attacked five individuals, among them a naib tehsildar and a Public Works Department sub-divisional officer. The attack unfolded on Saturday in Badnawar, situated 50 kilometres from the district headquarters.
Sahdev More, the naib tehsildar, sustained severe injuries and was referred to a Ratlam medical facility. The other four victims received treatment at the Badnawar civil hospital. A forest department team successfully captured the rogue monkey after an intense two-hour operation.
The incident began with the monkey attacking Vijay, followed by targeted assaults on other officials. The animal was eventually enticed into a cage using bananas and then transferred to a secure location, as confirmed by Deputy Ranger Vikram Singh Ninama.
