Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his greetings to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on their raising day on Tuesday.
In a statement posted on social media, Sinha commended the bravery and dedication displayed by CISF members, acknowledging their vital role in safeguarding India's critical infrastructure.
The CISF, which was formed in 1968, has transformed from a small unit of 3,129 personnel into a formidable force exceeding 2.20 lakh, underlining its critical importance in national security.
