Delhi Assembly's Tech Transformation with 'Vidhan Sathi'

Delhi Assembly has launched 'Vidhan Sathi', an AI-enabled chatbot to assist legislators in research and tech-enabled debates. It's integrated with AI tools and will soon be part of the National e-Vidhan Sabha platform, accessible in Hindi and English, marking a step towards a tech-friendly legislative environment.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta has unveiled 'Vidhan Sathi', an innovative AI-enabled chatbot aimed at enhancing legislative functions ahead of the Budget Session.

Gupta highlighted that 'Vidhan Sathi' will serve as a legislative research assistant for MLAs, offering capabilities like fact-checking and access to parliamentary rules.

This initiative makes Delhi's assembly the first in the country to adopt such technology, aligning with efforts to modernize legislative processes. The app, available in both Hindi and English, will soon integrate with the National e-Vidhan Sabha (NeVA) platform, further enhancing its utility.
