In the midst of escalating tensions in West Asia, the Ministry of External Affairs reported that six Indian nationals have died, and one remains missing due to various incidents.
Additional Secretary Aseem R Mahajan announced the tragic news during an inter-ministerial briefing, expressing condolences and ensuring support for the bereaved families through coordinated efforts with local authorities.
The conflict, primarily centered between US-Israel forces and Iran, has seen targeted attacks on Gulf countries, affecting energy and civilian infrastructure, and has also led to the return of around 300,000 passengers to India since its onset.
