The arrest followed an intense cross-state pursuit to the Indo-Nepal border. The suspects, identified as Rahul Nain and Vinod Kumar from Haryana, are implicated in attempting to flee the country. Kumar has a history of criminal offenses.
Constable Naresh Sharma and his driver were gathering intelligence on illegal liquor near Shalimar Bagh when they were abducted. The victims were then confined, beaten, and robbed. Prompt police action led to their rescue and arrests, unraveling a complex liquor racket spanning Haryana and Delhi.
