In a late-night operation, security forces in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, neutralized a local terrorist identified as Rashid Ahmad Mughal. The operation took place in the Arahama area, following intelligence regarding suspicious activity.
The Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint cordon and search operation. As troops observed suspicious movement and challenged the suspects, the terrorists opened fire, prompting a retaliatory response.
The carefully coordinated maneuver resulted in the elimination of Mughal, a resident of the Lar area, identified by his brother at the Police Control Room. The forces ensured no casualties among civilians or personnel during the encounter.
