On Wednesday, the district court complex received an alarming bomb threat via email and phone, sparking immediate security action. Authorities soon declared the threat a hoax after extensive searches showed no suspicious elements.
The police restricted public access to the court premises while deploying the bomb disposal squad and dog squad to ensure safety. All present individuals were carefully checked, and CCTV footage was scrutinized as part of safety protocols.
Additional Superintendent of Police Ayush Vikram Singh confirmed no explosives or suspicious individuals were found. Meanwhile, a cyber team is working to trace the origin of the threat, reviewing similar past incidents as part of the investigation.
