A major reshuffle in the Jammu and Kashmir police department has been announced, affecting 82 officers, including 34 IPS officers, in an immediate move. Key appointments include Tejinder Singh as the new IGP, CID, and Sarah Rizvi as IGP, Crime. Additionally, DIGs and several SSPs, SPs, and DSPs have been reassigned to different postings. The reshuffle sees DIG appointments like Haseeb-ur-Rehman for Traffic, Kashmir, and Vinod Kumar for north Kashmir, among others.
