During a review meeting of the Haryana Pond and Waste Water Management Authority, Saini underscored the importance of keeping ponds free from foul odors and preventing waterlogging in residential zones. To ensure quality and transparency, he mandated that all cleaning, desilting, and drainage operations follow a standard operating procedure.

The chief minister advocated for the integration of modern technology in pond construction and modernization, coupled with surrounding beautification. He also promoted the use of solar pumps to enhance water flow, warning of strict consequences for negligence. Saini instructed regular monitoring by panchayat secretaries and a boost in sanitation staff, while officials reported significant progress in the action plan for over 6,500 ponds, with numerous projects approved and completed.
