In the early hours of Saturday, a 21-year-old man named Sameer was shot during an altercation outside a club in Delhi's Preet Vihar, police officials reported.
Preet Vihar police received a distress call around 4:30 am about the incident. Sameer, a resident of northeast Delhi's Noor-e-Ilahi, was admitted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital with gunshot wounds and is now in stable condition.
The confrontation began inside the club and escalated outside when an unidentified person fired a shot, striking Sameer in the leg. A police investigation is underway to track down the shooter and his associates.
