The Ministry of Jal Shakti, on Wednesday, highlighted the need for enhanced functionality, long-term sustainability, and improved service delivery within the extended Jal Jeevan Mission set to run until December 2028.
During the 7th District Collectors' Peyjal Samvad, DDWS Secretary Ashok K K Meena emphasized monitoring and community participation for safe rural drinking water and sanitation.
District officials shared progress and best practices, discussing strategies such as digital tools and efficient use of funds to achieve the goal of safe water and sanitation across rural India.
