Ladakh's Recruitment Drive Strengthens Public Service Commitment

Ladakh Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena distributed appointment letters to 313 newly hired district-cadre employees during a Rozgar Mela, as per an official announcement on Thursday. This event followed closely on the heels of a similar fair in Kargil just days before.

In collaboration with the Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Services Recruitment Board, exams were conducted last November to fill district cadre roles. From 387 selected candidates, 313 received their appointment letters, primarily joining the health, revenue, public health engineering, and forestry departments.

Governor Saxena praised the recruitment process for its transparency and fairness. He emphasized government service as a societal duty, urging the recruits to serve with integrity and diligence. Saxena assured that the administration is committed to addressing staffing gaps promptly, reinforcing governance and public service in Ladakh.
