Tragic Boiler Explosion Claims Life in Latur
A devastating fire in Latur's MIDC area, triggered by a boiler explosion at Mundada Industries, claimed the life of a worker and critically injured another. Police identified the deceased as Datta Burange, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway.

A major fire broke out in the MIDC area of Latur city on Thursday afternoon, resulting in one fatality and leaving another person critically injured. The blaze, which erupted at Mundada Industries due to a boiler explosion, posed significant challenges for emergency responders.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sameer Salve confirmed that two workers were injured in the inferno. Tragically, one of them, identified as Datta Burange, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the government hospital. Meanwhile, the second victim, Abhi Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, remains in critical condition.
Latur Mayor Jayshree Sonkambale visited the scene to assess the situation and demanded a comprehensive report from the officials. The fire has since been brought under control, and a thorough investigation into the causes and safety protocols at the facility is in progress.
