In a significant move aimed at rejuvenating Punjab's landscape, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced a substantial development initiative in the Attari constituency. This drive promises investment in infrastructure, specifically improving 121 roads over 137 km, enhancing connectivity in previously overlooked border areas.
Mann, addressing the gathered crowd, condemned past administrations for fostering the drug trade, vowing instead to eradicate this issue through comprehensive border and governance reforms. The AAP government, Mann stated, is making strides to dismantle the entrenched drug network, transforming this fight into a mass movement with strong public involvement.
The initiative also brings relief to border farmers, with the realignment of fencing to facilitate unrestricted cultivation. Concurrently, Mann highlighted other government successes, including increased canal irrigation usage and substantial job creation, marking a new era of growth and development in Punjab.
