A property worth over Rs 1 crore in Nagaur district has been frozen by Rajasthan Police, allegedly built using proceeds from drug trafficking. This action was executed under the anti-drug campaign, Operation Sankalp.
The property, constructed on the Didwana-Bikaner bypass, was in the name of the accused Govind Ram's wife. Superintendent of Police Roshan Meena stated that technical evidence indicates the house was financed entirely through illegal means.
Govind Ram, implicated in four cases under the NDPS Act, used illicit income from interstate trafficking to acquire the land. The property freeze was confirmed on April 17 following a detailed investigation and paperwork processed by Kotwali police and the competent authority in Delhi.
