A sessions court in Mumbai has denied pre-arrest bail to two individuals, a former secretary and treasurer of a housing society in Wadala, charged with fund misappropriation and fraud.
The court deemed their custodial interrogation by police necessary, noting that allegations were neither vague nor ambiguous.
The complaint, filed by a society member, accuses the duo of preparing false bills and diverting funds, including Rs 17 lakh allegedly transferred to an educational institute in Gujarat.
