Pharma Bust: Illegal Drug Network Disrupted in Delhi
Three men have been arrested by Delhi Police for alleged involvement in a network distributing banned and controlled pharmaceutical drugs in Delhi and NCR. The suspects, medical representatives for pharma firms, were caught with significant quantities of psychotropic substances and controlled medicines. An investigation is ongoing.

The Delhi Police have successfully apprehended three men linked to an illicit drug network operating across Delhi and NCR, as confirmed by an official statement on Sunday.
The arrested individuals, identified as Rahul, 29, Mohammad Akram alias Rajesh, 28, and Suraj Prasad, 36, were reportedly employed as medical representatives with various pharmaceutical companies. Rahul's capture in Uttam Nagar, where police found him in possession of illegal psychotropic substances, led to the wider crackdown.
Authorities recovered 1,461.6 grams of Alprazolam tablets, 1,806 grams of Tramadol capsules, and 12,000 ml of Codeine-laced cough syrup. Investigations reveal a larger distribution network, with ongoing efforts to identify suppliers and end-users. Seized mobile phones and financial records are currently under scrutiny as the investigation progresses.
