Meanwhile, Customs officer Bullet Bairagi's bloodied body was discovered beside a road, prompting police investigations.
A grim shadow hangs over Bangladesh as authorities investigate two mysterious deaths involving a temple caretaker and a Customs officer. Nayan Sadhu, who served as a temple caretaker in Cox's Bazar, was discovered hanging from a tree three days after he disappeared.
Police have yet to ascertain whether Sadhu's death resulted from murder or suicide; however, minority councils have unequivocally demanded justice. A separate incident has drawn attention in Cumilla, where the body of Bullet Bairagi, a Customs officer, was found near a road, deepening suspicions of foul play.
As investigations into both deaths continue, concerns about communal violence rise. Police indicated the absence of major injury marks on Bairagi's body despite its bloodied appearance. This revelation fuels anxiety in a region already on edge from recent acts of violence.
