Spy Network Disarmed: Punjab Police Nails ISI-backed Espionage Module
The Punjab Police has dismantled an espionage network linked to Pakistan's ISI, arresting key operative Sukhwinder Singh in Ferozepur. They seized solar CCTV equipment made in China. These devices were used to surveil sensitive army sites, transmitting footage to Pakistan. Further investigations are ongoing.

The Punjab Police announced the discovery and dismantling of an espionage module allegedly sponsored by Pakistan's ISI. Key operative Sukhwinder Singh was detained in Ferozepur, revealing a network of surveillance aimed at sensitive locations.
During the operation, the authorities recovered Chinese-manufactured solar-powered CCTV equipment with 4G connectivity. These devices, discovered in Kapurthala, were reportedly used to monitor sites linked to the Indian Army and transmit live footage to handlers in Pakistan.
Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav confirmed that a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in Amritsar and further investigative measures are in progress to identify potential accomplices and disruptions.
