The UK Metropolitan Police announced on Friday the charging of a 45-year-old man in connection with a counter-terrorism investigation into a stabbing incident in Golders Green.
Essa Suleiman faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of possessing a bladed article in a public venue, following the attack where two men were injured.
The incident has prompted Britain to raise its national terrorism threat level from 'substantial' to 'severe', in response to the antisemitic nature of the assault in north London.
