The Delhi Police has successfully reunited 194 missing individuals with their families as part of 'Operation Milap' this April, an official shared on Friday. This operation included the recovery of 45 children and 149 adults between April 1 and April 30.
'Operation Milap' involved the gathering of local intelligence and deployment of technical surveillance methods such as CCTV footage analysis and the widespread distribution of photos at public locations like bus and train stations. Local drivers, conductors, vendors, and informers provided valuable leads aiding the investigation.
The operation saw significant rescues from specific areas, with Kapashera police station tracing eight children and 21 adults, and Delhi Cantonment police accounting for 30 successful reunions. Since this year's start, 542 missing people, including 143 children, have been found and reunited within the region.
