CITU Calls for Unity and Justice on International Labour Day

CITU President and Kulgam MLA, M Y Tarigami, addressed the gathering, highlighting May Day as a symbol of workers' resilience and their fight for dignity and justice. He reminded the audience of past sacrifices made by workers globally, emphasizing that current rights were achieved through relentless struggle.

Tarigami criticized recent labour policies implemented by the BJP-led government, calling them detrimental to workers' interests. He urged revocation of the newly introduced labour codes and called for equitable wealth distribution and inclusive development.
