A Delhi Judicial Services official, identified as Aman Kumar Sharma, has allegedly died by suicide in the Safdarjung area, police reported on Saturday.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Sharma may have died by hanging. Upon receiving information, a police team arrived at the scene and began inquest proceedings. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and authorities assert that no foul play is evident, though all possibilities are being scrutinized.
Sharma, a law graduate from Symbiosis Law School, began his tenure with the Delhi Judicial Services on June 19, 2021, and was tasked with various legal roles. Most recently, he became Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority from October 18, 2025. Police continue to gather statements and assess circumstances surrounding the incident.
