A hazardous altercation unfolded in Meerpet when a middle-aged man found himself dragged for approximately two kilometers on the bonnet of a moving vehicle, police reported on Sunday.

The incident occurred on the night of May 1st. Captured on video, it stemmed from an argument over signaling for a U-turn. The man's son, who was riding a two-wheeler, and the car driver engaged in a dispute leading to the car driver allegedly pulling the son's hair.

Attempting to intervene, the father clung to the car's bonnet as it sped away, only coming to a halt in Balapur when the driver fled. Injuries were sustained during the event, prompting an official complaint and pending investigation.
