Heist in Preet Vihar: Jeweller Robbed at Gunpoint

In a daring heist, a jeweller was robbed of gold jewellery, cash, and his scooter at gunpoint in east Delhi's Preet Vihar. The police reported the incident on Monday.

The victim, Sukumar Dhara, was intercepted by armed assailants on Madhuban Road while returning home on Sunday night. The robbers reportedly threatened him with a firearm to seize his mobile phone, scooter, and a box containing approximately 75 grams of gold jewellery and Rs 3 lakh in cash.

Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Several police teams have been deployed to trace the suspects, with CCTV footage from the vicinity being predominantly utilized to uncover the identities of the perpetrators.
