A traffic police officer exhibited commendable heroism in north Delhi when his swift actions led to the life-saving rescue of a road accident victim. The incident occurred late on May 2 at the Burari Flyover, where Inspector Yashpal Bhati spotted a motionless scooter rider.
Realizing the critical injuries sustained by the 40-year-old man, Bhati, with the assistance of Constable Sahdev, immediately transported him to the Trauma Centre at Civil Lines. The injured man, later identified as Vinod Chandra Pujari from West Vinod Nagar, received timely medical assistance.
Hospital medical staff confirmed Pujari's condition has stabilized, crediting the police officers' intervention for his survival. The incident underscores the importance of prompt response in life-threatening situations, demonstrating the significant difference it can make.
