Launched on May 7 last year, Operation Sindoor was India's response to the Pahalgam terror attack, targeting infrastructure in territories controlled by Pakistan. Advanced missile systems like Akash and BrahMos were utilized, showcasing India's modern military prowess and strategic capabilities.
Singh stressed the need for the military to stay alert and adapt, reinforcing proactive approaches for national security. He also highlighted governmental initiatives in research and technology transfer to bolster defense capabilities, underscoring DRDO's leading role in innovation and collaboration with industry and academia.
