The CS Anthem, a U.S.-flagged commercial chemical tanker, made its way out of the Strait of Hormuz, escorted by U.S. military assets, as confirmed by three sources on Tuesday.
Operated by Crowley-Stena Marine Solutions, the CS Anthem follows the earlier voyage of the Alliance Fairfax, a U.S.-flagged vehicle carrier.
The Alliance Fairfax is operated by Maersk's Farrell Lines subsidiary, as per a Maersk announcement on Monday.
