Tragedy in Raipur: Man Shoots Sister-in-Laws Amid Domestic Dispute

A tragic shooting occurred in Raipur, where a domestic altercation turned deadly, as confirmed by police officials. On Tuesday night, Jitendra Verma allegedly shot his wife's two sisters in the Mowa area, according to law enforcement authorities.
The incident reportedly followed a series of domestic disputes between Verma and his wife, Khileshwari, leading her to leave their home earlier that day. Verma, a bouncer by profession, went to his in-laws' with a licensed pistol, demanding to see his child.
During the confrontation, Geetanjali and Durgeshwari Verma attempted to intervene, resulting in Geetanjali's immediate death by gunshot, and Durgeshwari's fatal injury. The assailant surrendered at the Pandri police station, with authorities arresting him and seizing the firearm. Investigations continue.
