In a tragic accident, two minor brothers, Raj and Ayush, have drowned in Mahalganj village under the Kotwali area, as confirmed by police on Wednesday.

The children, aged five and four, were discovered in a water-filled pit after they went missing on Tuesday afternoon, eventually leading to their unfortunate discovery on Wednesday.

Their father, an e-rickshaw driver, has been living in the village for years. A village-wide search was launched after family members reported them missing, culminating in the heartbreaking discovery by the northern side of the village.
