Jaylan A. Davis, currently held on a USD 1 million bond, faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, which police plan to upgrade to felony murder with the death of 18-year-old Avianna Smith-Gray.

Police Chief J D Younger revealed the suspect, believed to be linked with gang disputes, turned himself in. Authorities are searching for additional suspects connected to over 80 rounds discharged during the incident.
