Tragedy on Yamuna: Six Missing After Boat Capsizes

Six individuals, including children, went missing in the Yamuna river after their boat capsized. The incident, which occurred in Kurara, saw three rescued while search operations are underway for the others. Authorities, including BJP MLA Manoj Prajapati, pledge thorough investigation and appropriate compensation for the affected families.

A tragic boating incident unfolded on the Yamuna river as six people, among them children, went missing after their vessel overturned. The mishap took place in Kutubpur Patiya, a hamlet within the Kurara jurisdiction, as the group was returning from a river island with fresh produce.

The boat, piloted by Dheeru, capsized around 7 pm, leaving the community in shock. While three individuals, Vishnu, Rinku, and Parul, were successfully rescued, the search continues for the missing six, including young children aged 5 to 11.

Authorities, led by District Magistrate Abhishek Goyal, have mobilized the National and State Disaster Response Forces for a relentless search. Local BJP MLA Manoj Prajapati has committed to reporting the incident to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while ensuring impacted families receive compensation per regulations.
