Russia Warns of Armenia's Shift to EU Influence

In a statement on Thursday, Russia's Foreign Ministry accused Armenia of being pulled into the European Union's 'anti-Russian orbit'.
The remark from the ministry's spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, comes amid escalating tensions between the two nations, who were once closely allied.
Zakharova noted that Armenia, with its leadership's approval, is embracing what she termed as 'aggressive Euro-Atlantic standards'.
