British counter-terrorism police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with an attempted arson attack on a synagogue in north London last month. This marks the third arrest related to the investigation, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
The individual, who remains in custody, was apprehended on suspicion of attempted arson following the early morning incident on April 15 at a Finchley synagogue, which resulted in no damage or reported injuries.
Previously, a 38-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man were detained on suspicion of arson endangering life. Both have been released on bail. The investigation is managed by Counter Terrorism Policing London and is part of a broader inquiry into a series of arson attacks across the capital.
