The incident unfolded when Shubham, a DJ operator at the event, consumed water from a local pot in Deval Malla village, sparking a violent reaction.
Victim Umesh Chandra Tamta lodged a complaint, claiming his brother was severely injured by a group of about 10 people. The police are investigating amid conflicting reports and local protests urging swift justice.
