Major Trafficking Bust: 44 Girls Rescued in Bihar
Police in Bihar's Gopalganj district rescued 44 girls allegedly trafficked from various regions. Over 20 individuals connected to the operation were arrested, including orchestra operators. The girls, recovered from dance groups, were trafficked from states like West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, and have been sent for medical examination.

In a significant breakthrough, Bihar's Gopalganj district police have rescued 44 girls alleged to have been trafficked from different parts of India, officials revealed on Tuesday.
During a coordinated operation with Patna Police headquarters, personnel from Kuchaikote police station detained over 20 suspects, including orchestra operators, who allegedly facilitated the girls' transport into Bihar.
Originating from states like West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, the rescued minors have been taken for medical examinations as investigations continue, according to Gopalganj Sadar SDPO Pranjal Kumar.
