Pune Police have detained a woman linked to the NEET paper leak scandal, subsequently transferring her to the Central Bureau of Investigation for further investigation, according to information from a senior official.

City police commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed the detainment took place in Bibvewadi. He stated, 'We questioned her and handed her over to the CBI for further probe,' while withholding details of her specific involvement.

The alleged paper leak resulted in the cancellation of the National Testing Agency's exam for medical course admissions, creating uncertainty for over 22 lakh aspirants and their families regarding future examination schedules and procedures.
