AAP MP Sanjay Singh announced his intention to seek a meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu following the disturbing incident involving the alleged rape of a three-year-old girl at a private school in Janakpuri.
During a press conference, Singh expressed his plans to write a formal request for a meeting, bringing along a delegation to discuss measures ensuring justice for the victim and accountability in the case.
This statement followed a protest led by the party's Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj. The protest, demanding justice for the victim, faced police intervention due to its proximity to Raj Niwas, a high-security area.
