The Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a sophisticated mobile phone snatching syndicate that targeted affluent iPhone users. In a significant breakthrough, authorities have arrested three individuals and recovered 66 stolen mobile phones.

The racket was particularly notorious for stealing iPhones and subsequently selling the devices in grey markets. The uncovering of this operation followed a thorough investigation into an iPhone 17 Pro snatching incident reported near IP Park in southeast Delhi.

A special police team, formed post-incident, used CCTV footage analysis, local intelligence, and technical surveillance to apprehend the accused, including a key figure identified as Zahir alias Salman. Efforts continue to trace buyers and further dismantle the network.
