On Friday, the immovable property of an alleged Hizbul Mujahideen member was seized in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir, according to local police. This operation is part of an ongoing effort to dismantle terror networks in the area.
Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, alias Hyder, is the alleged proclaimed offender linked with the terror outfit and has been accused of obtaining illegal arms training in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, police confirmed. His land, valued in lakhs of Rupees, was officially attached with the assistance of the Revenue Department.
Bhat had managed to evade legal proceedings and was declared a 'Proclaimed Offender' under Section 88 of CrPC. The court-ordered attachment was executed following detailed verification of revenue records, signaling a serious blow to the terror ecosystem.
