Tragic Death in Bhilwara: A Case of Domestic Violence

A heart-wrenching incident in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, resulted in the death of a 41-year-old pregnant woman, allegedly beaten and forcefully given abortion pills by her husband, police revealed. The woman, identified as Roli Devi, suffered severe injuries and succumbed to a miscarriage and excessive bleeding.
Gopi Singh Yadav, the accused, has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the couple's 14-year-old daughter, who recounted sustained violence throughout the day. Investigations suggest that a domestic dispute may have escalated into this tragic occurrence.
Medical officials described the incident as brutal, with more than a dozen injury marks on the victim's body. Despite efforts at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, the woman could not be saved due to severe blood loss. Relatives have taken the body back to Uttar Pradesh.
