In a notable display of frugality, Justice Sameer Jain of the Rajasthan High Court cycled to his office on Saturday, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to reduce fuel consumption.

This symbolic gesture saw the judge traverse a significant distance from his home in Gandhinagar to the court, unaccompanied by a security detail, officials confirmed.

Previously, Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma had also abandoned his official escort vehicle, paralleling the nationwide call by Modi on May 10 to cut down on the use of petrol, diesel, and other commodities amidst the ongoing West Asia crisis.
