Daring Heist: Jewel Thieves Make off with Gold and Silver Worth Rs 40 Lakh
Six unidentified men broke into a jewellery shop in Haveri district, escaping with gold and silver worth over Rs 40 lakh. Despite covering CCTV cameras, one device captured their act. They allegedly used a vehicle, clues about which are being pursued by the police.

In a brazen heist, six masked suspects broke into a jewellery shop in Haveri district, stealing gold and silver valued at over Rs 40 lakh, according to local police reports.
The robbery took place in the early hours of Saturday, specifically between 1:45 am and 2:30 am, in Chikkanshihosur village. The culprits covered three out of four CCTV cameras but were captured by the remaining active camera.
Investigators have established that 19 kg of silver items and 219 grams of gold ornaments were stolen. Law enforcement agencies are tracing the vehicle believed to have transported the stolen goods, striving to apprehend the thieves.
