Authorities have announced the arrest of two significant figures in interstate drug trafficking operations centered around chitta, a hazardous form of adulterated heroin, in Punjab and Chandigarh.
The Additional Superintendent of Police in Shimla, Abhishek Dhiman, highlighted that Amandeep Singh and Akash had emerged as pivotal suppliers during investigations related to two NDPS cases from earlier this month.
Police operations, fortified by detailed financial and digital examinations, led to the arrests, with further investigations aimed at dismantling the trafficking network.
