During a Gram Vikas Chaupal event in Thikaria village, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma underscored the importance of empowering women, farmers, laborers, and youth as pivotal to the country's progress. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's emphasis on strengthening these key social sectors to drive development.
Sharma highlighted various state and central initiatives aimed at fostering economic self-reliance and social welfare, such as the 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme empowering over 17.5 lakh women. Initiatives like increased PM-KISAN financial aid and daytime agricultural power supply reflect the government's commitment to uplifting farmers and the economy.
The chief minister also detailed strides in employment generation and infrastructure development. Important efforts include recruitment for 1.35 lakh posts, green mobility advocacy, and significant water management projects. Sharma's remarks coincided with women's testimonies of financial success under the Rajeevika scheme, spotlighting state-guided economic empowerment.
