Pithoragarh administration has initiated 'Hello Help,' a district-level helpline designed to address local grievances efficiently and sustainably. This service caters to residents in remote areas, helping them avoid long trips to district headquarters for minor problems.
According to District Magistrate Ashish Bhatgai, the helpline is not only available in local languages but also facilitates direct complaint transfers to relevant departments in real-time, ensuring a swift resolution process. Officials will keep complainants updated at each stage of their grievances, enhancing transparency and communication.
The initiative specifically targets reducing the environmental impact of travel and fuel consumption, as residents frequently journey over 100 km to the headquarters. Officials believe this service will alleviate travel burdens and associated costs, promoting eco-friendliness and accessibility.
