ICC Dismisses Reports of Arrest Warrants Against Israeli Officials

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has refuted claims made in Israeli media regarding the issuance of new arrest warrants for five Israeli political and military officials. An ICC spokesperson clarified that the Haaretz newspaper report was inaccurate, denying any new warrants concerning the situation in Palestine.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Sunday dismissed a report by Israeli media suggesting the existence of fresh arrest warrants for several Israeli officials. The allegations, specific to political and military figures accused of crimes against Palestinians, were promptly addressed by the court.

ICC spokesperson Oriane Maillet issued a note to clarify the misinformation. She firmly stated that the article published in Israel's Haaretz newspaper was erroneous, emphasizing that no such warrants have been issued.

The ICC reiterated its stance on transparency and accuracy, urging restraint in disseminating false reports that can complicate international relations and judicial procedures concerning the state of Palestine.
